| Seller Notes: | “This book is in very good condition (in contrast to all but one of the four copies offered online). There is some wear to the covers to be sure, including edge wear and some very light bumping to the corners and spine tips, the latter with a bit of very light fraying. There are also some cracks to the finish which mark the beginning of some creasing which was not too bad (again be sure to see the photos). There is one small dent in the upper left-hand quadrant of the cover. Inside, the book is unmarked although I just perceive the erasure of what appears to have been a bookseller’s price penciled on the first blank page. The interior pages and plates, both b&w and color, are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are fully intact and the binding is still tight and sound. This book is not ex-library and certainly not a remainder. I do not believe that I exaggerate when I say that the book is something that belongs in the hands of a collector who will preserve it or in the arch” |
